& IDEAS HOW TO CHEER UP YOUR PENPALS
We are looking for creative ideas to help cheer up our friends on death row which can be sent by letters - for example, our member Isabelle Délèze collected some ideas for the Christmas time which you can find here. For any further information or when you have other creative ideas, feel free to contact Claudia Tramér at email@example.com. We will share the ideas in our newsletter.

Lifeshare - Misconceptions
Our members Ines Aubert, Sabrina Trächslin,
Claudia Dölker and Bea Wieloch have launched a new lifeshare for lifespark
and their penpals to contribute with texts which will be put together to a brochure.
The topic is: Misconceptions about death row / about writing a death row prisoner.
Find further information as well as ideas what to write about for the lifeshare here,
and feel free to send it your pen pals in prison so they can write a text as well.
The new lifeshare team looks forward to receiving many contributions until April 30, 2016.
For further information or when you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact Ines Aubert at Aubert.email@example.com.
In 2015, a team of five lifespark members has collected inputs from penpals in and out of prison answering questions like "What is my true motivation for this penpalship?", trying to track down their own selfishness, their own "murky side". You'll find the lifeshare here.
Projects in cooperation with Inmates' Voices
Voices is a Swiss organization which develops and promotes different artistic
projects with the goal to give a voice to inmates.
It was found by lifespark members. Find more information under www.inmatesvoices.com.
Project INMATES’ PICTURES – Artworks by American prisoners
Lifespark and Inmates’ Voices are pleased to present a new project which will provide another opportunity for American prisoners to be heard outside their walls: we want to create an exhibition that will display artwork of your pen-friends:
- Objects made in the cells
- Decorated envelopes
- Texts illustrated by drawings, for example a poem with a drawing
- Drawings of the inside of the cell
- Collection of texts
- Literary works (a copy of a book or manuscript)
We are currently collecting the exhibits; after the
exhibition, the artwork will be returned.
